In an age where mathematics textbooks seem to only grow more and more convoluted in their approach to and explanation of foundational topics such as Linear Algebra, Dr. Grinfeld's writing is a breath of fresh air.

I had the privilege of learning Linear Algebra from Dr. Grinfeld firsthand. His love for the subject is readily apparent in his quality of teaching as well as his ability to effectively communicate a deep understanding of Linear Algebra in an accessible manner.

I am pleased to discover that the same quality of teaching found in his classroom can be obtained in this book (at a much more competitive price too!). Useful tool for anyone in a math class involving linear algebra

The guide is short and to the point, and reviews in an intuitive way the concepts of linear algebra. Since it's such a short read and provides examples that allow the student to develop an instinctive sense for solving common problems, I would recommend it as a companion to any new student in a linear algebra class, as well as anyone looking to review the basics of the subject.

The exercises are simple enough to teach the basics, and the more challenging problems and explanations are thought provoking enough to develop mastery of the subject - adequately preparing the reader for tough extra credit problems to be faced on an exam.

Look before you leap

Sometimes, in life, REVENGE may seem like a good idea but, it can backfire. It can take a bad situation and make it even worse. I can certainly understand Avery's reaction to her boyfriend's cheating. After all, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. She is too young to realize that the best revenge would be to live a happy life without him.

This is a scary book. There is a scary world out there. The author does a great job of showing how one wrong step can not only screw up your life but, can be courting death as well.

Well, Avery got her revenge but it didn't make her happy. She lost her self-respect and almost her life.

This book will teach you a lesson on going home with strangers.
I felt so bad for Avery learning the love of her life cheated on her. i feel bad for Haden just a little now much because he really messed up. But She was on a mission to even things out. What that got her was more heartach and her life in danger. Just cuz a guy is easy on the eyes doesnt mean he is to be trusted just saying. I think every young adult should read this!
But i love how no matter what with all the issues she has with haden they still love each other so much and realize the mistakes they made. its a love you dont see often but always hope for.

A masterpiece for learning pharmacology

This book is a superb piece of work from a teaching and a learning point of view. The author has put aside the traditional way of teaching a raw discipline, custommarily full of information difficult to retain. The subject is taken into a new dimmension, dividing by different clinical applications each one with a previous pathology, physiopathology, clinical characteristic and the pharmacological management required for each case. For example, respiratory emergencies are extensively reviewed, its different physiopathologies are described, the clinical characteristics common to each one, and the pharmacological treatment recommended in the prehospital setting. Every chapter is written the same way, thus providing the reader with a unique opportunity to blend over in a whole view the physiopatology, the clinical aspect and the pharmacological management in the field of an illness. I have no doubt this book contributes greatly to make young paramedics competent clinicians, and allow senior paramedics to hold their titles as Masters of Clinics.
